Delete Account Request

You can delete your Squirrelll.ing account at any time. This page explains what gets removed, what we keep, and the steps you need to take before requesting deletion.

    What Gets Deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove your name, email address, phone number, profile picture, and any linked Google sign-in. Your saved payment methods are detached and can no longer be charged, your savings pod is closed, and your account can no longer be accessed or restored.

    What We Keep, and Why

We retain certain transaction records — payments, withdrawals, and pool or pod contributions — for the retention period to meet legal, tax, and regulatory obligations. These records are no longer linked to your name, email address, or phone number.

Before You Can Delete Your Account

You must withdraw your money before deleting your account. Deletion is not available while:

    • your wallet holds a balance
    • your pool balance holds a balance
    • your savings pod holds a balance
    • a withdrawal is still being processed

If any of these apply, the app will tell you which, so you can withdraw first.

    How to Request Deletion

    In the app (immediate)

Go to Profile → Delete Account and follow the prompts. Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out.

    By email (3–5 business days)

If you can no longer sign in, email support@squirrelll.ing from your registered email address, include your username, and state that you are requesting account deletion.

    After Deletion

Deleting your account frees your email address and phone number, so you can create a new account with them later if you wish. The new account starts fresh and does not restore any previous balance or history.
